COVID-19 Update 4 May 2020

The following information is an update from the Italian Minister of Health published at 4 may 2020

As of this date, a new Autocertificazione (Fase 2) has been issued . According to ANSA.it, the old Autocertificazione can still be used as long as the irrelevant data are barred or striked through.

Just as before, in the new Autocertificazione, residents must declare that they are aware of the existing national and regional contagion containment measures, must not be subjected to quarantine and not be tested COVID-19 positive.

The four reasons that can determine the displacement are: proven working needs; absolute urgency; situation of necessity; health reasons.

According to the article in ilsole24ore.com, manufacturing industries such as textile, fashion, automobile, construction and the furniture making businesses are able to resume work. It also states that domestic workers, babysitters and caregivers may also resume work even if they do not live in the same premises as their employers.
